The Cumbria Network is an independent organisation for - and driven by - practising visual artists.

It exists so that artists in Cumbria - and everyone connected to the arts - can use and be part of a vibrant artistic community.

The Network was initiated by artist Kate Brundrett, who moved back to the area in 2002 and found it a challenge to find like minded artists, resources and networking opportunities...

...what started off as an idea, now has over 600 subscribers.

We're now delighted to have this website up and running - its taken quite a bit of time and investment - but what a great resource to have.
